City break Capsule

I am very excited about a trip to Rome, but, having never been, what to wear? 4 nights, 3 days and a couple of nice meals out. Capsule wardrobes are the answer.

So, where to start? Trousers…. Louche linen viscose mix trousers are light to wear in hot weather yet drape and stay looking smart. Black linen trousers from Tirelli are a safe bet, dark colours being practical and easy to coordinate. And a dress for evening, we love the ICHI dress in crisp white and blue, it reminds me of the Mama Mia film! And tops, Bibico gingham shirt is fabulous, goes with everything and doubles up as a jacket. A couple of vest tops to wear beneath and the wonderful Cut Loose Bias V neck in white which is cool and a Little smarter than jersey. Most important for wandering around eating Ice cream all day is shoes! We are loving Walk in Pitas trainers and a white pair will do the job perfectly.

 So looking forward to it, Michelangelo here we come.
