Christmas in Corbridge

Christmas in Corbridge

We realise that most of our customers don't live any where near Corbridge but some do so please indulge us whilst we tell you a little about our pretty and historic village and what happens here at Christmas. I have been trying to order a laptop from Dell for my daughter all day (what does "Internal Server Error" really mean?) so I am thoroughly sick of Black Friday and no doubt Cyber Monday won't be any better. I am however, looking forward to Civilised Saturday tomorrow here in Corbridge. We're offering 20% off all party clothes and shoes and the village lights go on at 4.30pm. Many local traders are donating a percentage of their sales to local charities the Charlotte Straker Trust and the Corbridge Youth Initiative and atmosphere in the village is sure to be relaxed and friendly. On 2nd to 6th December St Andrews Church hold their annual Christmas Tree Festival - local businesses and voluntary groups decorate our historic church with over 80 beautiful trees - a splendid site. On Monday 5th December it is the annual Corbridge Late Night Shopping evening. It's an opportunity to buy extra special Christmas presents from the shops in Corbridge with late night opening hours. There's lots of fun stalls and carol singing in the market place. The event starts at 6pm and finishes at 9pm.
