As a business our environmental policy is to reduce, reuse and recycle as much as possible. As a team the staff try to reduce plastic waste as much as possible. We have even written to our suppliers asking them to use less plastic with moderate success. However certain brands such as Thought have really listened and have switched to more environmentally friendly shipping options.
When we send items out to our customers we use recyclable cardboard boxes and we have recently been testing out carbon neutral, fully recyclable shipping bags made of sugar cane. We also offer to recycle for customers, and continue to offer paper bags for purchases made in our shops.
We also sell a variety of string bags and S'well reusable metal water bottles in our shops to encourage people to continue helping our environment past leaving our shop. (We may even be getting our own reusable bags sometime in the future so keep a look out for that!)
While there is always more we can do to help we are making the steps to reduce our carbon footprint and hope you will join us!
